Soonercon 32 Applications Opening in the Fall
Soonercon is a pop culture convention occurring June 21-23, 2024 at the Embassy Suites Hotel & Conference Center in Norman, OK. Artists get exposure to more than 3,200 fans of anime, comics, gaming, pop culture, fantasy, sci-fi, art, film, TV, and literature.
The Artist Alley consists of approximately 60 tables lining the hallways of the main conference space. Artist Alley tables are ideal for networking, taking commissions, and selling prints. Space in Artist Alley is intended for individual artists and writers. Two memberships are included with table reservations.
There’s no cost to apply. Here’s how it works.
- Click Apply for Table below.
- Fill in all requested information on the application form. Completing the application form does not guarantee a reservation of space at the convention.
- Check your email regularly. If your application is accepted, you’ll receive an email outlining the reservation process and a link to pay for the space. If you do not complete the steps outlined in the approval email including full payment or alternative arrangements within 14 days, your spot will be released for other artists to reserve.
Approvals will be prioritized using the following criteria:
- Overall variety
- Programming guests
- Space availability
Artist Alley operating hours are 12pm-7pm Friday, 10am-7pm Saturday, and 10am-4pm Sunday. Although the Artist Alley closes on Friday and Saturday evening, it is located in the main hallways and is accessible during the full convention hours. Artists are encouraged to tarp their tables and secure their art during evening hours.
